POLADA was established in 2017 as the national legal entity charged with the implementation of the government’s national anti-doping policy.

Its main responsibilities are doping control, anti-doping education of athletes and support personnel, information and outreach, international cooperation and results management.

POLADA conducts around 4,500 tests and is involved in the anti-doping education of approximately 6,000 athletes and support personnel per year.
